How does hair transplant treatment proceed?

Our hair transplants take place in Istanbul, Turkey. The treatment lasts a total of three days. On the first day you will fly to Istanbul, where we will pick you up and take you to your hotel. On the second day the treatment takes place, which takes about 6 to 8 hours, depending on the number of grafts. On the third and also last day you will get a check-up and we will perform the first wash, with Dutch instructions on how to wash your hair in the coming time. You will receive the necessary lotion and shampoo. After this you will fly back to the Netherlands.

It is important to wash according to these instructions for the first 10 days. After treatment, light scabs will form, which you should not scratch. On the tenth day you will be instructed to remove the scabs, which helps for better results. After the scabs are removed, you will no longer be able to see that you have hair implants.

What is the result after a hair transplant?

The result of a hair transplant can be divided into several phases. For the first two months, the skin is mainly recovering. It is important not to sit or scratch the skin during this phase. After three to four months the first results are visible, new hair gradually begins to grow. After six to twelve months, these hairs become stronger and fuller, the results are now really visible. The final result is visible after about twelve months. The transplanted hairs are now indistinguishable from regular hairs. You can then carefree enjoy your full head of hair!

How long will it take to see results?

In the initial period after treatment, your transplanted hair may fall out, but don’t worry, this is normal. Real growth begins after about three months. After 7 months you will see 85 to 90% of the result, and after 12 to 14 months you will see the final result.
