Before treatment

Aftercare

After the hair transplant, you will receive detailed instructions from us on how to care for your scalp. For example, we will provide you with a shampoo designed specifically for the care of transplanted hair. After the treatment, we continue to advise you. We like to see you back after a while to see how well the transplanted hairs grow. Already within a few months the new hairs begin to grow, and after about a year to 14 months the final result is visible.

What is FUE and how does it work?

FUE stands for Follicular Unit Extraction, a method in which we use a small drill to remove hair follicles from your donor area. Then we make small channels in the area where you want hair, and place the hairs with special tweezers.

What is the difference between the FUT and FUE techniques?

The biggest advantage of FUE compared to the older FUT technique is that you are not left with a scar. This is because with FUT, a piece of skin is removed from your head, leaving a scar. This is why at Hair Clinic Wolf we only use FUE.

What is the difference with DHI?

In DHI, or Direct Hair Implantation, we use Choi pins to place hair follicles directly into your scalp. This is different from FUE, where we first create channels and then place the hair follicles.
