The consultation

During the consultation, you will speak with your counselor about your needs and treatment. This can be by phone, at our office in Kaatsheuvel or at a location of your choice. The treatment can be performed in Turkey or in The Netherlands, entirely depending on your needs.

There are some important questions you may want to ask your counselor such as: Is it realistic what I want to achieve with the treatment? And: Will I be left with scars from the treatment?

Among other things, the specialist will consider the best surgical approach for the problem you have with your hair and your needs and concerns.

Because the approach to your care may change, it is important that you inform your counselor of any previous treatments, medications and your medical condition.

Pictures

Once all the necessary information has been recorded and you have had an initial interview, photographs will be taken from five different perspectives. All photos we take of our clients are for internal use only. We only share the photos with the medical team in Turkey or the Netherlands, depending on where your hair transplant is performed. After this, a summary of the interview with your consultant and the photos taken are sent to the hair transplant specialist for review.

Establish treatment

Your attending medical specialist determines whether the donor area and the structure of your hair are suitable for a hair transplant. An analysis is also made of the areas where new hairs will be implanted. In addition, an estimate is made of the number of grafts that will be transplanted. Together with you the anticipated outcome and possible changes are discussed.

Provision of information, treatment & travel

When you agree and are satisfied with the anticipated result, we will proceed to schedule your treatment. Moreover, you will receive additional information from us about the guidelines before and after the treatments, the daily program, the hotel and additional information. You will also receive this information by e-mail so that you can read it back at your leisure.

If you choose to have a hair transplant in Turkey, you will board a plane a day in advance and arrive in Turkey at the Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by an English-speaking transfer attendant. He will accompany you to the driver. Then you will be taken to the hotel where you can relax and recover from the trip.

Treatment & medication

Day two is the treatment day. After breakfast you will be picked up at the hotel by the driver. It is best for you to wear clothes that you do not have to take off over your head. It is important not to touch the grafts after the operation.

You will be taken to the hair transplant department after which our doctor will then receive you and give you more information about the process. In the first part of the day, the hairs are harvested. In the second part of the day, the hairs are placed. At the end of the treatment you will receive the medication and the schedule for taking it. Then you will be taken to the hotel where you can relax and recover from the treatment.

Washing, control moment & return trip

On the third day, after breakfast, our driver will be waiting for you again. On this day the bandages will be removed, the first wash will take place and you will have a final check-up with your attending physician. You will then receive additional information about the products to be used and the wash. After the final check-up it is time to be taken back to the airport by the driver.

Washing & control appointments

When you are back in the Netherlands you can choose to have the wash done by a specialized hairdresser. We are busy expanding our partners, would you like your hairdresser to specialize in the waxing process? Let us know!

We feel it is important to keep a close eye on the results of your hair transplant. The first control moment is on day 10 after the treatment, on this day it is important that you comply with the additional washing instructions. This way you can achieve the best results!

After that, we like to receive monthly photos to check progress. You are always welcome to come by in person so we can assess the result in real life. Moreover, you can contact us at any time; our Dutch and Turkish team is always there for you!
