What is the hair loss process like in men?

Hair loss in men follows specific patterns. Some men experience hair loss at their crown (vertex) first, while others lose the hair at their temples first, resulting in inlets.

In the image to the right, you can see forms of hair loss as they may occur in men. What is noticeable is that hair growth remains at the back of the head and on the sides. This is the hair crown, which is part of the permanent body hair.
