What is DHI and how does it work?
DHI stands for Direct Hair Implantation. Here we use Choi pens to place hair follicles directly into your scalp. First, we use a small drill to extract hair follicles from the donor area, and then we place them directly with the Choi pen.
What are the benefits of DHI?
- Higher density: You get a fuller head of hair than with other methods.
- Less bleeding: During the implantation, you hardly experience any bleeding.
- Only shave donor area: Unlike other methods, you only need to shave the donor area.
How is it different from FUE?
With FUE, we first create channels in your scalp, into which we then place the hair follicles. With DHI, we skip this step and place the hair follicles directly.
What are the disadvantages of DHI?
- More time and cost: The treatment takes longer and is more expensive because of the special technique we use.
